Wines of Germany
Wine Education Class Sunday, Aug. 19, 2015
5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Germany isn't just about beer and brats! From Alblong to Zweigeltrebe, there are about 140 wine grape varietals grown in Germany. This provides us a rather large number of wines to sample!

There are 13 designated wine regions, or Anbaugebiete. German wine is primarily produced in the west of Germany, along the river Rhine and its tributaries, with the oldest vineyards going back to the Roman era.
Led by Certified Sommelier, Gregory Leon, we will taste our way through Germay and learn first-hand why these wines are so amazing! In this wine class, you will visit different German wine regions, sample select food and wine pairings from each region and experience why Germany is not just for beer.
You can learn more about the wonderful wines of Germany by attending our Wines of Germany wine education class. For tickets, click here.
