2016 Labyrinth FREEBIRD

Winemaker’s Note: Freebird is my artistic blend.  It promotes free expression and the ability to NOT be conventional.  Previous Freebird blends have been an interplay of Iberian and Bordeaux varietals.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Dense ruby with carmine hues

Nose: Ripe, opulent plum and red fruit, unmistakably Bordeaux varietal leading with predominant Merlot decadence

Mouth: Immediate full body roundness leads directly to concentrated plum, coca and soft sweet oak overtones continuing long and finishing with hints of graphite and fine grained tannins
